Business in the Front and Party in the Back: Apple TouchID vs Pixel Imprint

iPhones have dominated the smartphone market for years now. As one of the most popular devices out there, they have offered numerous features, advances, and options that make them one of the top. Some phones have been able to compete with the iPhone, but, usually, the iPhone comes out in front. Recently, though, some big competition has entered the market — the Google Pixel. The Google Pixel has a lot of its own advantages and features that make it a worthwhile phone, but can it stand up to the iPhone 7 Plus? While there are endless ways to compare them, one of the biggest is what makes these devices stand out — fingerprint technology. Both have implemented fingerprint technology, just in different spots. Even though it seems like a small detail, figuring out which side is important to do.

How They Work

Fingerprint technology is not that hard to understand. By putting your finger in the designated spot, where the finger sensor is, you can unlock your phone and begin using it without any other code necessary. It uses your fingerprint and nothing else. No pin code, no password, no puzzle; it only needs your fingerprint. This offers a level of safety and accessibility that people want in their phones, making these high-end devices worth their prices. Get into your phone faster and keep it out…
